That was great.....a perfect example of where we are going. I just find it odd that you don't have to enforce a federal law concerning illegals, but you have to obey it with multiple language ballots. You can bust drug and gun violations but not illegal immigration. You've got the ACLU ready for a law suit if one illegal alien complains....but nothing when it's blatent against a citizen.

It seems spanish speaking people get better treatment.

It seems as if "illegals" are now a protected class. All they need is their worthless Matricula Consular ID and the world (United States) is at their feet...

I want a new identity and to be illegal. Have them catch me doing that and see just how many laws they'd slap on me.

That makes my stomach turn. I hope we win this fight to make English the OFFICIAL language. Heres another video on a Firefighter losing he`s job because he didn`t speak spanish.

So the Spanish language has been mandated by Federal Law. Does anyone here know the history of that legislation? A couple of years ago I wondered if the reason Spanish kept showing up on signs and packages was because of some law but I thought I was too paranoid. Now it is true.

The welfare part happens in Dearborn and Detroit. One time I went to a "family independence agency" for food stamps and was told by a nervous looking woman that it would take me 8 hours of waiting just to see someone and that there was no guarantee that I would get approved. I waiting for two hours and left in a huff, which is what they wanted, but while I was there a Muslim woman came in for food stamps and she was seen immediately by a special Muslim case worker. The woman at the counter was nervous because she knew she was feeding me a load of crap. And of course there was a guard with a gun there because they probably get a fair number of people who got angry when they found out how filthy, corrupt and rigged the system was.

So the Liberals now have guns in order to defend themselves.

This country was invaded, taken over and robbed while we slept.

Creative, dishonest lawyers and incompetent judges are surrendering our nation. The legal precedents are overwhelmingly in favor of immigration enforcement, but these snakes are slithering through the fence anyway.

Americans can be sued for all they are worth, and illegals given preference by lawyers and corrupt judges.

Excellent video showing what is happening in this country. It's really getting bad. I'm glad she spoke at the council meeting to raise awareness and that they were discussing ways to address it.

I'm wondering, if English is made the official language in this town, would it cut off the social services or what would actually change?

This kind of reminds me of something I saw happen in Detroit:

Several years ago Detroit's mayor Kwame Kilpatrick passed a law requiring homeowner's to pay 300 dollars a year to have trash picked up by the city of Detroit. Before that it was free. Along with the new fee came a notice of a fine that homeowners would get ticketed if they didn't haul their own garbage themselves or pay the new 300 dollar fee. The new fee system was a total disaster as most people in Detroit just ignored it. Pretty soon drifts of garbage started sailing across vacant lots in Detroit and Kilpatrick soon earned the reputation of being the nation's dirtiest (and dumbest) mayor. After the owner of a house I was renting was approached by the police for not keeping his garbage removed, the homeowner started talking to people to see who was getting fined or approached by the police.

He quickly found out that home owner's who did not speak English never got warned about their failure to pick up their own garbage and that even non-English speakers who let the backs of their businesses pile up with rat attracting filth never got approached by the city.
