    Well, that was not fair and balanced reporting, and pretty bad typos and spelling. The premise is right, but don't forget they hold us over the oil barrel and are wonderful, long-time friends of the Bush family.

    The main reason they hold us over the oil barrel, is because there isn't sufficient political will, to buck the EnviroFascists, and do what is necessary to become energy independent. As you note, the Saudi royal family are long-time friends of the Bush family, but Clinton or Carter weren't exactly hard-liners when it came to Saudi Arabia.
