All I see in those pictures is a group of pathetic COWARDS who don't have the GUTS to do the same thing in corrupt cesspools like Mexico in order to better the lives of "The Race" there.

This is so the kind of demonstration the media loves though and they know it.

If anyone watches the show it's obvious they don't have an agenda. It helps portray what our Homeland Security people go through on an everyday basis. Are they saying we should abolish Homeland Security personnel?

Our country has laws to enforce and law enforcement officers of every type should be commended and appreciated. That is what the show portrays imo.

They act as if illegal aliens are treated subhumanly or unhumanly. Yes, yes, you are correct, no human is illegal..to the planet earth, but you are illegal to our country. these fools just don't get it and never will. They are all acting like children.

But, this is also the kind of controversy that the networks, producers, etc. just love as well.

The controversy over Smile, You're Under Arrest and Homeland Security USA is providing limitless, and priceless, free advertising and publicity for these shows as they are discussed in every venue imagineable.

Controversy is drawing the numbers of viewers that networks, producers, and advertisers absolutely DREAM of drawing....particularly to new shows. Viewers equal ratings and money, always crucial to the industry, but especially now with the economy being what it is when networks must entertain more viewers now staying at home instead of going out and advertisers are competing in a tight spending market.

What the illegal aliens and their advocates are too stupid to realize is that all of this fuss they are kicking up, all of their lame publicity stunts, and every last one of them who tunes in....and compels others of their ilk to tune in.......as we know they are doing, is actually counter productive to what they are trying to accomplish. Ratings do not discern WHY people are watching the show, just that they ARE watching the show.

The bottom line is that these two shows are not controversial for content that is offensive and objectionable to, and found completely outrageous by, a large majority of the population, or even a population which is a huge demographic for the networks since they prefer, and patronize, Spanish television.

Even advertisers are no longer intimidated by their threats of boycotting their products.......these people are not the force en masse that it would take to make any difference because they are not the majority of the consumer base, and everyone has seen attempts at boycotts repeatedly fail, so this tactic has become a hollow threat. And in this economy are advertisers actually going to alienate a majority consumer base to kowtow to a few?

It's very unlikely that the networks and producers are going to be compelled to pull these shows based upon the unfounded bitching of a very small segment of the population with a personal agenda.

Oh, of course they're not saying we should abolish Homeland Security personnel.

We've all heard their hypocritical rhethoric.......yes, we need LE, yes the laws of this country should be enforced but it's to be reserved for everybody else......Latino illegal aliens and immigrants are merely good, honest, God fearing people here to do jobs Americans won't do and provide better lives for their families.

Even their blatant criminal activities....whether it's ID theft, every conceivable form of fraud, drug trafficking, human smuggling, etc.....are to be excused for these reasons. After all, it's all the fault of the United States and Americans in general that they are "forced" to do these things for their very survival

I think you're right about the show Jean and really, where is it any different than, for instance, "Cops", "48 Hours", "Watching the Detectives" or any of the other many reality shows having to do with law enforcement?

It's not really. The only problem that the illegal aliens and their advocates have with it, is the same problem they have with anything else which runs counter to their carefully crafted BS image of "the poor, bedraggled, Latino immigrant" not here to hurt anyone, engage in criminal activity, blah, blah, blah.

They don't want the truth about these people known....period.

Well one good thing...they will have to throw away all their t-shirts when they are done and buy new ones.....every little thing helps to stir the economy!

The KKK has about as much to do with this issue as Hitler, Nazi Germany, and concentration camps has to do with it..........NOTHING!!

All of that is just a disgusting and appalling attempt on the part of illegal aliens and their advocacy, to quell opposition by horrifying people at the very thought that we might even be compared to such atrocities and despicable organizations.

They have no legitimiate, legal grounds for their arguments so must resort to these types of tactics and they have shown that there is no level too low for them to stoop.
