Well, actually, Morton first told him to get an immigration lawyer and start working 'through the system". Morton also said "I've been in the immigration business a long time." Really? Is this the new view of illegal immigration in the US? It's a "business"? No, it's not a business, it's a racket. He also said there were more federal resources on the SW border than all the time he's been in the "business". That's because in the last Administration, the Republican Congress passed those laws and allocated those resources. I'm not aware of any new resources for the SW Borer passed by Congress since 2007 when Republicans lost control of both Houses to the Democrats.

By the way, how does an illegal alien get a marriage license in the United States and to what possible end would the head of ICE indicate that this was cause for anyone to remain in the US illegally and hire a lawyer when the laws requires ICE to deport them? Telling illegal aliens to hire immigration lawyers is telling them to take their money and turn it over to a lawyer to try to fight US immigration law. That is wrong, wrong, wrong.

This just proves this Administration is not going to enforce US immigration law. All they're going to do is deport what they consider to be "criminal illegal aliens" already arrested by state and local police and already sitting in county jails and their own handful of drug arrests.

States are going to have to enforce US immigration law. The problem is already way beyond ICE's ability to handle illegal immigration, because as this interview so clearly demonstrates, ICE doesn't even understand the problem.

Even the illegal invader knows this will never happen! Why do you think he called the show! This is how embolden illegal invaders have become in this country! They have the chutzpah to call a show and announance their illegal status before the nation and then go on to taunt the ICE Chief John Morton.
