It was a pretty good turnout. Around 500 rowdy folks. I'd like to see 5000 at the next one. You gotta be dedicated to go to a No Amnesty Rally at 7 Pm on Thursday night. The response was very encouraging. Lots of honks and thumbs up. A few negatives. Some people looked confused and amazed at the same time. Maybe they were waking up.

There was a small counter protest across the street. Some of us went over there but the cops came and said we did not have a permit to be on that side of the street and ran us off. The counter protesters were very patronizing at first. Saying stuff like "thank you Senators for considering the important issue of immigration reform" about 1000 times. But later they started showing their true colors and started chanting "We are the new majority" and "We will vote."

So that's the real problem with this amnesty plan and a 'path to citizenship' isn't it? A new imported subversive democratic majority. No wonder the 'Chappaquiddick Kid' is so excited about getting them citizenship.
