    To be impeached you must have two thirds of the House...we haven't had that amount in the House and then the Senate has to convict...Without a Senate Majority that is highly unlikely that this House of the 112th Congress, even if they do impeach, would have the support of the Senate thru a trial to reach a Senate conviction.

    I just think it's great that SOMEONE in a elected official capacity is speaking the truth.

    No impeached President has ever been forced out by conviction...Nixon would have but he resigned. Clinton and A. Johnson stayed in office due to the Senate acquittal. DD

    THIS proves my point. The GOP had a majority at the time of Clinton's impeachment and ran like scalded dogs when it came time to actually remove him from office.
