Here's some pics from the Westpark Job Pool in Houston, TX:

These guys escape the Texas heat by sitting in the shade of a fence at a gas station along Westpark Drive.

They saw my truck turning the corner, so they thought I might be hiring work for the day. They tried to wave me down, but got their picture taken instead.

I think they called their buddies further down the road to warn them. When I pulled up close enough to view the next group, they all began to scatter. Several of them hopped into the back of this pick-up truck parked at the gas pump.

I was tempted to tell them they could fit many more people into a VW Beetle if they dressed up as clowns. On second thought, I figured that clown make-up might get rather sticky and nasty underneath the scorching Texas sun.

Those are the only decent shots I got on 4/21/2006. More to come soon.
