Jerry Brown's allies are using 'Maidgate' to reach out to Latino voters with a new commercial.

The labor union SEIU is behind the commercial that's set to air in Spanish-language channels in Los Angeles and Fresno. It's part of a $5 million campaign to support the Attorney General.

The ad says Whitman attacks undocumented people to win votes, but had an undocumented worker in her home for nine years.

Whitman's people say the commercial proves the union worked with lawyer Gloria Allred on this "political smear."
