Looks like Fred is better on this issue than Romney, hope he picks up speed.Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it. - George Bernard Shaw

The points for comparison are not being given the same weight. The candidates that they favor are placed towards the right hand side. Duncan Hunter is their favorite and they like Romney slightly over Thompson.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Duncan Hunter is my favorite as well. Hunter and Tancredo have been championing the illegal immigration for a long time.

Fred Thompson doesn't reject amnesty. He says (Again, I'm not really bothered by the amnesty part. I mean, that's a given. What else are we going to do, realistically?)

I have a close friend and client who went to school with Fred and I have been listening to Fred on Illegal Immigration for years. He has never supported amnesty and has always backed enforcement through attrition. He was one of the first to lay out a plan in dealing with illegals. Fred is one of the few, maybe only, candidate to lay out plans on various issues. It's too bad that the only negative thing people bring up on blogs is his personality.
"We should scrap this comprehensive immigration bill and the whole debate, until the government can show the American people that we have secured the borders, or at least made great headway.
"And then we'd give the proponents of the bill a chance to explain why putting illegals in a more favorable position than those who have played by the rules is not really amnesty."

It is sad that people just view the package and discredit him. He has a small child, a stunning, intelligent wife , and no skeletons.
Anybody that's been in sales knows that if you give the customer too many choices, you'll probably loose that customer to indecision. I think we can relate this campaign to that problem.
