    From the recent Mitchell report announcement of baseball players accused of using performance-enhancing drugs to the subprime mortgage meltdown to the massive Santiago Fire, these stories have touched and changed our community.
    We've picked what we think are the year's biggest stories. Now, it's your turn.
    Please vote for the story you think has been the biggest to touch Orange County. We'll give you the details and updates in the paper and here, on ocregister.com on Sunday, Dec. 30.

    Unless we start voting again and again in this poll it looks as though HOCKEY will be the Top Story for 2007.

    Immigration was winning all week, but the Stanley Cup win jumped drastically over night and it's gaining fast.

    The voting continues through the 30th and unless we VOTE VOTE VOTE we will not win this one.
