They really need to be exhonerated, since they did nothing wrong, and it would clear their names and allow them to seek other employment without the legal charges following them. They need to be given a clean free slate to start with. Parfoning them will still show on their records, where exhonerating them, will wipe the record clean, since they did no wrong.
