Obviously only older White folks are responding. How often do they get stopped by the police? Irving is very aggressive when it comes to crime, and police often make stops based on race and/or the age of the driver; taking into consideration the car/truck you're driving. ALL police depts do the same thing, some just have the resources to have officers doing traffic stops instead of always being headed to the next call on the list. I have lived in Irving for many years and one thing stands out -the police are everywhere.

If a certain race or age group is more prone to committing crime in a given area then yes the police should be discriminatory in who they stop. Crime statistics, arrest reports, and such should easily show which group is more prone to crime and thus the police would be more effective in concentrating on those groups.

Like in Airports, Arabs are more prone to blowing up plans than grannies or babies, therefore Arabs should be looked at more closely by those in authority. It is called common sense.

IMO, it is almost impossible NOT to racially profile anyone anymore. I remember awhile back when my local newspaper wouldn't give out the descriptions of rapists, because they thought it was "racial profiling". How were woman supposed to know who to look out for if there was not description of the guilty person? IMO, we ALL are "racially profiled" in one way or the other, everyday.

The difference between an immigrant and an illegal alien is the equivalent of the difference between a burglar and a houseguest. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
