Arizona's controversial anti-illegal immigration law, which went into effect on Thursday, hit a snag when a federal judge stripped the provision that would have allowed police to question a suspect's immigration status. Gov. Jan Brewer said she plans to appeal U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton's decision and is willing to take it to the U.S. Supreme Court.
