    Suggestion for Handling McCain

Do Veteran's organizations know that illegal aliens flaunt the legal requirement to register with the Selective Service System? We need to ask whether John McCain, if elected President, would simply forgive this violation, along with numerous others, and grant amnesty to IA's. I would think this would be a flagrant insult to all US veterans and service members; young American men are obligated, under penalty of a felony conviction, to make themselves available for military servce if the need arises yet illegal aliens can enter, completely ignore this law that also applies to them and get off scot free.

I have contacted both the VFW and the American Legion to ask if they will hold McCain's feet to the fire on this. Since he depends on his military record--and the support of veterans--he doesn't want to insult them. Are there other groups that would put pressure on him on this issue?

The Democrat candidates may be so secure in their liberal power base that they can ignore this. But to me, any Commander-in-Chief should see that there is no special class of people who can openly ignore this important law. The Dems should at least be publicly embarassed by such an oversight.

Any of the three contenders will come under relentless pressure as soon as they take office to grant amnesty. At least this gives us one more important argument.

From the videos about McCain's military adventures , I'd say he is unfit to be Commander In Chief of the armed forces. If the general public knew the truth about his military career, they certainly wouldn't want him to be the next president. Not that they have any real say in the matter, but it would be good if the truth were known. McCain has not been chosen by the people. He was chosen by the CFR. Stop him if you can. Good luck.

Who said anything about "stopping" McCain? We are not going to stop the election of one of the three current front runners. I am talking about a wedge issue which could at least in McCain's case, bring him to heel.

If you think you are fighting an uphill battle against illegal immigration now, you ain't seen nothing yet. In 2009 it will be much harder. Now is the time to strategize for that.
