    Gallup: Obama's Numbers Plunge to New Lows

    President Barack Obama’s job approval rating dropped again in June, according to Gallup polls, falling to 61 percent in what has become a steady decline since January.

    That’s down from 65 percent in May, and 66 percent – his high point – in January, according to Dr. Frank Newport, editor-in-chief of Gallup polls.

    His daily approval rating also reached its lowest point Thursday, falling to 57 percent. And his disapproval rating grew to its highest point at 36 percent.

    But Newport said that Obama’s approval rating has remained steady “when you look at it from the broader perspective,â€
