The well-respected polling company Rasmussen Reports has a brand new poll out, and the results are encouraging for supporters of our common English language.
The poll, conducted on August 9-10, shows that fully 83% of American adults support making English the official language of the United States. Only 10% believe English should not be made the official language.
There are currently 31 states that have official English laws on the books, in addition to five states that are considering laws this legislative session.
