Thread: A child shot and killed in Salt Lake City today

There was a child shot and killed here a few hours ago. This child was shot in the chest by 3 male hispanics. I am waiting to see if this makes the news or if they will hide that fact they were hispanic males. Usually this is well hidden.
If it is a white person they give you a discription. If it is a Hispanic they tell you nothing.

Please keep us updated, I as I'm sure everyone else is interested to see how this plays out.

(4 Points Media) Authorities say a 7-year-old girl was shot and killed in Salt Lake City around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

Police are calling the girl an innocent bystander in a gang related shooting.

The shooting occurred at 1100 south 800 west. Police say the little girl was playing outside of her home when a black SUV pulled up and fired shots.

The child was shot in the chest and died at the scene.

Witnesses said they heard numerous gunshots but police have not confirmed how many were fired.

Authorities say the shooting is likely a result of gang threats that stem from an altercation earlier in the day. Investigators believe the 7-year-old was not the target.

Police say they are familiar with the gang members and know one of them by name.

The black SUV was found near 1760 south and 150 west. Police are still searching for the suspect.
