The Republican party doesn't have a plan to reform healthcare. Tort reform is necessary, but simply not enough. I checked the web sites of my Rep. representatives and they have to plan or recommended reforms to improve the quality of our health care.

House GOP Leader John Boehner (Ohio), is a good talker, but he can't do the walk. I would sincerely like to see his plan. Where is it ?

Too many insurance companies are spending millions of dollars to fight any reform. They don't want more competition, tort reform, elimination of "pre-existing conditions.

The executives of insurance companies want your money for their profit, stock options and bonuses. They want you to be scared of any change. Without change, they keep our wealth and we lose our health.

The cost of insurance goes up (for employers) 30 - 40% a year. This simply can't continue. Reform must be implemented to reduce cost. It will require some govt. regulations and over sight, just like the banking industry needs more regulation.

The AARP has tried to inform us that many Republicans are simply telling big, bold lies regarding healthcare reform.

I typically vote Republican ~ Voinovich and Tiberi, but neither of them have worked to improve healthcare. I remember Tiberi opposed the purchase of drugs from Canada. Why ? It reduced the profit of drug companies.

Health reform is necessary and Republicans have NOT formulated any plan.
