COLD WAR II: What Happened to the Fall of Communism?

Events were not supposed to have turned out this way: Stalin is making a comeback in Russia, the Chinese Communist Party controls capitalism in China, Venezuela - once a friend of the United States - is now a neo-Marxist state, and Latin America itself is dominated by communist or far left regimes. When the Berlin Wall was destroyed by jubilant West Berlin youth, the nightmare was believed to be over. The communist true believers, however, are again a threat to humanity - even within the U.S. government.

It is a story gets little coverage in the centralized media.

Instead of withering away, there are now neo-Marxist regimes in Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, as well as Cuba. Even the Daniel Ortega, the old communist Sandinista leader - and one-time nemesis of former U.S. president Ronald Reagan—has returned to power in Nicaragua. The governments of Brazil. Uruguay, Paraguay, and Argentina, as well as guerrilla armies in Colombia and Peru, are in sympathy with the Chavez and his “21st century socialism.â€

You cannot declare an ideaology dead. Ideaologies live and hibernate in the grey matter of a man's mind. Those with such philosophies dream of creating a Utopia, those with a more twisted mind, they wish to just sell the idea of a Utopia to the ignorant masses knowing full well that Utopia is just the sales pitch.

Why did Reagan declare communism dead?
