But doesn't Ron Paul favor the infamous, "Path to citizenship," AKA amnesty and the "free flow" of goods and people?

Ron Paul would never get my vote. He has voted for amnesty in the past and he has voted repeatedly against sending our military to the border. Furthermore, he has said, "I find the border fence rather offensive." Paul is not serious about securing our border because he does support the free movement of people and goods across borders. I wouldn't necessarily say he supports an amnesty at this time, but he has voted for them in the past. He repeatedly voted for Section 245(i), which created a de facto amnesty for illegal aliens while they waited to get green cards. Additionally, Paul is not an enthusiastic supporter of E-Verify and has not signed on as a cosponsor to Rep. Shuler's SAVE Act. He actually voted against the Basic Pilot Program employment verification system in 2003.

"I sometimes think that those who attack bilingualism sometimes are jealous, and we feel inferior, because we’re not capable."

    --Ron Paul--

Ron Paul is good on some issues where illegal immigration is concerrned, however, he doesn't quite make the grade on some of the issues that are important to me.
