The Vatican says Israel Not Promised to Jews

FYI, The Bible states Isreal is the Jews land forever. Also, the Catholic Church supports illegal immigration. Most Mexicans are Catholic. Ted Kenneddy was Catholic, and he was responsible for the oversight of immigration for 25 years ( a time, and a time, and a splitting of times) in the U.S. Ted Kenneddy helped Obama get elected, and Teddy assembled illegal aliens in D.C. for the si se puede march. Old Teddy also died of a head wound that he miraculously came back to life, then died again.

This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'
The Vatican recently hosted a gathering of church officials called "A Synod of Bishops for the Middle East." The group of 200 bishops wrestled with problems such as peace in the Middle East and the growing persecution of Christians and their exodus from Muslim countries.

The actual position paper issued by the synod was predictably obtuse and quite vague in its pronouncements, but the official announcement of that message offered some real fireworks. Monsignor Cyril Salim Bustros is the Greek Melkite Archbishop of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Boston, Massachusetts. He presided over the Commission of the Message at the news conference following the Synod of Bishops for the Middle East.

In essence, Monsignor Bustros revealed several facts you probably didn't know. First, the Jews cannot use the Scriptures to justify their "occupation" of Palestinian lands, i.e., Israel. Two, Christians cannot refer to the 'Promised Land' as an exclusive right for the "privileged" Jewish people. Three, that promise was "nullified" by Christ. Four, there is no longer a "chosen people." Now, we are ALL the "chosen people." Except the Jews, of course. Apparently, they are now the 'unchosen' people!

There's more, but you get the picture. Folks, this is nothing more than "Replacement Theology." Please forgive my language, but this is a lie straight out of the pits of Hell. Tune in this week and I will tell you precisely why I say that.

By now, most of you know that National Public Radio (NPR) news analyst Juan Williams, who is also a contributor to Fox News, was abruptly fired by NPR. He was apparently dismissed by the taxpayer-supported radio network because he expressed an "opinion" (which, oddly enough, is precisely the job of a 'news analyst,' isn't it?) on "The O'Reilly Factor" on the Fox News Network.

This week, I'll show you the 'opinions' some other NPR personalities have expressed about Christians in the past -- opinions that are authentically disgusting and outrageous. Yet they weren't fired. So what made Mr. Williams' 'opinion' so much worse that he merited dismissal? One word: Islam.

The trademarked slogan for Las Vegas is "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." I'll bet you probably feel a little like that about your church. You may feel like you can let your guard down a little when you're there since you're among friends and others who believe like you and live their lives like you.

Well, I'm sure that's how a young, single Christian lady from Grand Rapids, Michigan, felt, too. In fact, she felt so comfortable in her church that when she decided she wanted to find a roommate to share her house, her church is where she looked. She posted a notice on the church bulletin board that she was searching for a Christian roommate. Mistake. Especially in Michigan where the government dictates tolerance.

You guessed it. Someone from this young woman's church took down the notice and turned it in to the Fair Housing Center of West Michigan. They passed it on to the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and now this woman is facing the possibility of fines and 're-education' at a government-mandated 'fair housing training seminar.' Her crime? She advertised for a "Christian" roommate.

Frankly, I'm furious at the ignorant stupidity of imbecilic laws (and legislators) like this. But, folks, this is not "The Twilight Zone." This is reality. This is happening in America. And it may have already happened in your state and you just have not run afoul of that law yet. Trust me, it won't get any better unless we citizens do something about it.

You've heard the saying, "Elections have consequences." This story is a perfect example. That's what makes the upcoming General Election on Tuesday, November 2, so important. And that's why it's so critical -- even imperative -- that you vote. Take other registered voters with you. Don't let any members of your family who are qualified to vote sit this one out. Find out if any of your elderly or infirm neighbors need a ride to the polling place. Do your part. Pray. Study the issues. Choose the candidates whose values most closely reflect your own. Then, VOTE!

Don't miss this week's Report here Sunday

    God Bless,

The Pope has just announced the clarification that the Catholic Church does not support illegal immigration. The Church defends nations rights to secure their borders and determine who enters their nations. The Church also instructed that immigrants are to assimilate into the culture of the nation they migrated to and abide the laws of that nation.

    http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010 ... d-borders/

The pope's exact words:"States have the right to regulate migration flows and to defend their own frontiers, always guaranteeing the respect due to the dignity of each and every human person. Immigrants, moreover, have the duty to integrate into the host Country, respecting its laws and its national identity."
As a Christian, I don't believe the Jews were the Chosen People or that Israel belongs to the Jews forever. I've also heard Jewish religious leaders confirm that. I'm not clear on the whole history between God and the Jews, but it would make no sense at all for God to have a Chosen People or dictate that the Jews own a country they left. We have to remember that the Old Testament was written by Jewish scribes and there is the passage in the New Testament that warns "Beware of the scribes." Luke 20:46.

God gave us minds with logic and reasoning with which to sort it all out. It's not always easy, but we should always try to accept the Bible as God's Word tempered by the knowledge that men with personal and political agendas wrote it.

You will be held accountable for unrepented mistakes. All the answers are in the Bible.

The Jews fell from God's favor (because of sin and idol worship) in the last books of the Old Testament and were basically driven out of the Promised Land because the Lord no longer protected them and it became an uninhabitable land. Also, the Romans occupied Israel and slaughtered a pig on the alter so the temple was desecrated, it was also burned by Babylonians. That's why it was available for a mosque to be built on the Temple Mount(second temple).

What the Catholics fail to mention is God's promise to Abraham that his descendants will be given the land forever.
    Genesis 13

14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed(descendants) for ever.

    Genesis 17

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

I have to remember that the Catholic Church likes to flip flop on certain issues. Rome was run by Germany, and many believe that they ran it for the money to be gained from Christianity. So noted that we should be somewhat weary of the scribes, I believe mainly because they could not translate what they were told to write from old world knowledge, into modern times ( from say 1000 B.C. to 2000 A.D.). They had no concept of what an F-16, or a Maserati was. They were being persecuted, so I would imagine that some of the visions of the Prophets were blurred by stresses as well.

Furthermore, a year or so ago, I posted a link to where every Catholic Bishop in the United States was told to ask their Church members to urge Congress to amnesty illegal aliens. It was no mistake I found it, and I was amazed I did find it. I posted it on this website, BTW. I could never have found it on my own, BTW. I had some help.

It only took 10 days for the Pope to follow Merkel's advice. Hello, am I onto something here Watson? Does Germany still control the Vatican?
