    Ron Paul and Blow-Back

My daughter was an Air Force Captain stationed at a base in Turkey during the years 1999 and 2000. The entire time she was there, at all hours of the day and night, bombers were going out and coming back after being on bombing runs over Iraq.

At one point, Al Queda threatened to attack the base and the base went on DEFCON status. When she left in Nov of 2000, the bombings were still going on. This bombing had been constant since the Gulf War.........and that happened when my son was called up in 1990. When 9/11 took place, this bombing was a subject of discussion. Do you really think our 10 year bombing of Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11?

And for Rudy Guliani to make comments trying to make Ron Paul look like a fool is reprehensible. And from the applause for that idiot Guiliani when he made his rebuttal of Ron, it is quite apparent the peope of S.C. were ignorant of the above facts

Shilling for votes. He just wanted an applause. It is clear he had no idea what Ron was talking about. It is also clear that Sean Hannity is a neo-con Giuliani boy through and through. The way he went after Paul post-debate proves one thing to me. Neoconservative foreign policy means more to him than securing our border. I am currently listening to that interview. They argued into the commercial break. Fox tried to skew the public opinion by making Paul look like a traitor and Rudy to look like he was having his moment in the sun.........Well guess what? Paul trumped Rudy in the debate poll. Sure, it could have been from Dems voting for Ron, but it undeniably shows that conservative support for Rudy is not nearly as strong as Fox tried to make it seem.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!

I literally could not go to sleep last night after the debates. I was so angry how Giuliani once again played the 9-11 card. It was obvious that he smelled blood and couldn't wait to pounce on Ron Paul.

What made me even angrier, was the audience's applause! Later on, one Republican analyst said that Paul's remarks did him in!

People need to wake up and realize that actions have consequences. Paul did not say we deserved to be attacked. He simply stated the reasons behind them. And he had the guts to say it! I hope voters will not fall for Fox's News spin and ignore that difference.

I thought Ron Paul did very well and I was impressed with his answers. He gives me the impression he cares about America and I wasn't swayed by Giuliani's antics.
I was listening for clear content and integrity and trying to ignore the distractions.

I agree witj Ron Paul, but he needs to bring the case before the american people, since its quite obvious a good portion of the american people dont have a clue about our foriegn policy. this conservative will never vote for giuliani.

As a conservative I think Ron Paul planted a size 12 in his mouth last night. The man is running as a conservative, not a liberal and he needs to take his audience into consideration when stating his positions. As for bombing Iraq, we had our reasons. Not to worry, Paul will have ample opportunity to recover from last nights episode of Battling Elephants.
