Nativy scenes vandalized in Oregon
Horrible, I couldn't even write the title of this article. This occured in Oregon. Why someone would do such a disgusting thing like this is beyond me. I hope they catch the person or people and throw the book at them.

Video NORTHWEST EUGENE - Two front yard Nativity Scenes had baby Jesus replaced with severed pigs heads. It sounds like something out of a horror movie but it happened at two homes in Northwest Eugene.
"It was disgusting," says resident Shannon Cooper. "We can't even understand where a person would come up with an idea like that." Shannon and her husband Ron are reacting to a severed pigs head. It was an unexpected and unwanted addition to their front yard nativity scene placed in the cradle where a missing baby jesus was supposed to lay.
Just down the street, David Stahl's family discovered the same thing. "It just makes you sick. it's beyond disgusting," says Stahl.
Police are investigating these as "biased crimes" which are essentially the same as a hate crime because they are targeted at a specific relgion, gender, or race. Lieutenant Scott Fellman of the Eugene Police Department says, "This is a religious display and it's entirely possibly this happened because of that."
We spoke with Father Joseph Sergott at the Saint Thomas Moore Newman Center about the significance of this crime. He says, "It's attacking innocence, vulnerability, and love and so my reaction would be praying for those people who have done this."
Friday, a new baby Jesus is in the front yard but the Coopers say they are concerned that the prankster might strike again.
"We kept the lights on all night last night and we'll do it again tonight," says Ron. In fact, this new baby is just one of two replacements the Coopers purchased.
The Stahls, on the other hand, took down their scene completely. "We put it away. The kids were so upset last night we just put it all away."
Both families say they are moving forward and refuse to let a vandal ruin their Christmas. Still, this holiday season, they hope someone else might do what's right. Shannon says, "I'm hoping somebody else hears it and has heard somebody bragging because somewhere in a crowd even if everyone's lauging at what a person did somebody will be disgusted by it and have the guts to call the police."
If the vandals are caught they could face jail time.

A video camera would be a good way to bust the bastards, too.

Luke 2:1-21 "Unto Us is Born, in the City of David, a Saviour."Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
