Two women dressed in hospital or doctor's office scrubs recently walked into the Dollar General Store in Denver, filled large bags with beauty products, and left without paying, authorities said today.

On the way out, the suspects told a clerk they were leaving because the soap, lotion, bath products and other items were cheaper at Rite Aid.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office reported the suspects took the products at the Dollar General on N.C. 16 south on May 4 and may have struck at other Dollar General stores in the area.

The women, who were described as white, got into a gray 4-door sedan that may have been a Chevrolet Celebrity. The car had a 30-day tag, but store employees were unable to get a license number.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8900.
