CBP Officers Nab Man at Sea-Tac Airport on Warrant for Child Molestation

(Wednesday, April 15, 2009)

Seattle – A 55-year-old man from Port Orchard was taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Sea-Tac Airport last Thursday when he returned to the United States from Manila, Philippines.

Nestor Domingo was taken into custody after a name check resulted in the discovery of a warrant out of Kitsap County in the National Crime Information Center database. CBP officers almost missed intercepting Domingo as the date of birth listed on the warrant was four days off from the actual date of birth of Domingo, but further in-depth computer checks revealed a match on his social security number. The 15-year-old warrant for child molestation was issued May 13, 1993. CBP officers held Domingo until the Port of Seattle police responded and took custody of Domingo.
