Prepare For Very, Very Dark Days Ahead. Don't Think So?

    http://www.adl.org/special_reports/r...ca/default.asp

Just read the preparing of the way. When articles like this start from the Progressive/Liberals, there is no good to follow.

Has America seen her best days Only if the Democrats are not soundly defeated before we are truly the enemy of the Government, which is starting to masticize , but at this rate maybe it isn’t masticizing at all – maybe it is full blown cancer and the country simply will be led to its political and fiscal destruction by the current Community Organizer at the Helm and the cabal he has brought with him into office.

Looks like they are not Chavistas either:

Report: Venezuelan Jewish Community Under Threat

New York, NY, February 2, 2009 … The violent anti-Semitic attack on a Caracas synagogue on the Jewish Sabbath did not happen in a vacuum. It was the latest manifestation of anti-Semitism in Venezuela, a country whose leaders, government officials, media commentators and others foster an atmosphere of intimidation against the Jewish community, according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued today.

In the weeks since Israel launched its operation against Hamas in Gaza, Venezuela's Jewish community of approximately 15,000 has been the repeated target of hateful rhetoric, intimidation, vandalism of property and threats of organized boycotts, according to the ADL report, Chavez's Venezuela: The Jewish Community Under Threat.

"The anti-Semites in Venezuela feel emboldened and empowered by the rhetoric and actions of President Hugo Chavez and his government," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "The most recent synagogue attack in Caracas did not happen in a vacuum. It took place in an atmosphere of intimidation and threats against the Jewish community that has been building for weeks, stoked by the vile comparisons of Israel's actions to the Nazis coming from President Chavez and his regime."

ADL's report provides a firsthand look into the statements of Chavez and other government officials, showing how the country's virulently anti-Israel attitudes encourage and foster anti-Semitism across society.

"What is troubling about Venezuela is that anti-Semitism is being used as a political tool," Mr. Foxman said. "Anti-Semitism is fostered by those at the highest levels of government, trickled down the government apparatus and left unchallenged by officials in the Chavez regime, the government-controlled media, and civic and religious leaders who support the regime in Venezuela.

"We are encouraged by the many expressions of support for the Venezuelan Jewish community coming from opposition politicians and independent media outlets, who we believe more accurately reflect the views and feelings of the vast majority of the Venezuelan people."

    Among the ADL's findings:

    * President Chavez engaged in a series of statements and actions in response to Israel's operation in Gaza which were anti-Israel to the extreme, and even bordered on anti-Semitism. In response to the conflict, Chavez expelled Israel's ambassador to Venezuela along with six other Israeli diplomats and officially severed relations with the State of Israel. He made statements calling in the Venezuelan Jewish community to speak out against the actions of Israel, and promoted a conspiracy theory that the Israeli Mossad and the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency were responsible for poisoning former Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat. In other statements, Chavez trivialized the Holocaust and equated Nazi efforts to exterminate Jews with the military actions of Israel against Hamas.
    * The political machine built by Chavez echoed his statements in the press, on radio and television, in the streets of Caracas and in cities across Venezuela. During the Gaza crisis, anti-Semitic and anti-Israel statements were made by the foreign minister, interior minister, the president of the national assembly, a number of congress members, and governors across the country who support Chavez.
    * A number of anti-Israel rallies were held in Venezuela, with many rallies co-sponsored by government officials. Nearly all of the rallies contained anti-Semitic references comparing Israel's military actions to those of the Nazis during the Holocaust and used Nazi imagery to portray Israel's policies. These rallies typically left behind anti-Semitic graffiti on synagogue walls, city plazas, Jewish owned businesses and the Israeli embassy.
    * Opinion articles appearing in official government media and Web sites echoed anti-Semitic canards and promoted conspiracy theories and myths of Jewish financial influence, Jewish control of U.S. foreign policy, Jewish "responsibility" for the death of Jesus, and claimed Jews are "double agents" of Israel. Some openly called for the boycott of Jewish-owned businesses in Venezuela as well as multinational companies believed to be owned by Jews.
    * A raft of anti-Semitic comments appeared on mainstream and government-related Web sites. The posts spread age-old myths about Jewish control of finances and economic interests and conspiracy theories about the Jewish lobby controlling the United States and its policies. Holocaust references abounded, with some comparing Israel to the Nazis, and others sending the message that "Hitler did not finish the job."

The Anti-Defamation League, founded in 1913, is the world's leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.

All these phony self-serving 501 C 3 "not-for-profit charities" need to be shut down.

I mentioned this on another thread about Lou Dobbs. They first called us "racists", then "xenophobes", and when those dogs didn't hunt, now we're "conspiracy theorists."

ADL, SPLC, National Council of La Raza, Maldef, ACLU ... they all sit around together plotting their next attack because these hacks all work for the same corporate and elitist interests that fund their organizations.

For years they frightened people into never saying anything about illegal immigration for fear of being labeled a "racist". When eventually we overcame that with "That Dog Won't Hunt", they went global and called us "xenophobes", even law professors at our own University of North Carolina School of Law wrote articles calling us that ... and when "That Dog Didn't Hunt Either", now we're .... "conspiracy theorists".

On other websites where a lot of these pro-illegal immigration freaks hang out, I've been called names so nasty I didn't know our language could actually accommodate them, but surprisingly, it does. The hatred these people have for us is totally unsettling. They thought they would win, they thought Americans could be manipulated. They thought they had a plan to take over our country, dissolve it, merge us with the world, and eliminate the environment and conditions that allow Americans to be Americans. They were so sure and so confident that Americans would cower to name-calling and hand-over their country.

And what's most troubling is that they were almost right, but not quite. Americans are slow to rise to controversy, it's not our nature, by nature we're busy bees interested in productive endeavors and squabbling with our government and politicians is just about the least desirable thing any of us want to spend our time and money on.

But, when there is no other option, and believe me, there is not one other option, Americans will rise to the occasion, like we have all through our history to do what must be done, what we were born and raised to do, and that is defend by all means necessary, the liberty and prosperity of the American People and the sovereignty and solvency of the United States.

These are times of extreme treachery, what I call our Period of Ironies and Opposites, so as we head into these political battles, beware the wolves in sheep's clothing .... because they are everywhere.

Does the 'AD' in ADL stand for anti-defamation, or does it mean 'Attention Deficiency'? I suggest the latter, because if the ADL was actually paying attention they would not have their information so screwed up.

I always thought AD stood for Anti-Democracy, and in the 30 years I've been following them, I haven't seen anything to change my mind on that.
