Thread: Stick it to the man!!!!

So what do think Boosh and his white collar wall street gangsters are trying to scare us into giving them all of our money. If we all made a run on the banks or just threatened to. What could they do?

They can ignore our voices, but we still hold the cash and the power, maybe they need a reminder. Or maybe that could cause another great depression, if that isn't already on the horizon. So we might as well stick it to em.

Do like my husbands bank did and shut down for the day for a "craft show". No lie.....his bank shut down for a craft show! Cut the electricity so no-one can do anything......Makes you afraid to even ask that question.......seriously.

Your money is safe up to $100,000.00??????????? right????????????????

FDIC and all that....How about like ING Direct...the on-line bank....I know they exist also in Australia.... They state FDIC insured......

Actually a "coffee can" isnt a bad idea. If Bush and his pig pen friends get their way, we are in alot of trouble. All financial institutions could hold onto our money, IRA's, and other investments for who knows how long.

Yes grandmasmad. Your money is FDIC insured up to $100,000. I have a friend who had several accounts and she would move them around with whoever had the better interest rate. One of the banks closed and she had over $100,000 and lost the amount that was over that. Last I heard Bank of America or HSBC were gonna buy Washinton Mutual. I haven't heard the latest though. I'm not sure why you would need to close the account.

Yes grandmasmad. Your money is FDIC insured up to $100,000. I have a friend who had several accounts and she would move them around with whoever had the better interest rate. I heard that too a week ago but the latest I heard it was a bank in Canada.

Is that why they want to bail out FOREIGN BANKS too? I know I would never trust a foreign bank with my money.

That's funny, I was talking with someone about the bailouts and he said he had his money in an offshore account. Didn't say who or where. I would like to find out more information about that!
