PRAYERS ANSWERED ON MT. SOLEDAD CROSS!

Great news for those of us who have worked hard to keep the San Diego Mt. Soledad War Memorial as is, where is.
The US Supreme Court has granted a temporary stay for the cross on Mount Soledad. The decision issued by Justice Anthony Kennedy overrides a federal court ruling that the city pay five-thousand dollars for each day it continues to stand after August first.
It could also buy precious time for the state… which could ultimately make the difference on keeping the cross where it is. The Supreme Court has not announced yet whether it will hear the case.
And speaking of so called religious matters…
What is it with the Democrat party and flip flops?
Now it’s happening to crazy-man Howard Dean.
He says Democrats must have faith in their ability to attract religious voters.
The former presidential candidate says his party must do a better job of winning the support of evangelical Christians, who have voted Republican in recent elections.
Wait one little second here!! It wasn’t that long ago when Dean was bashing the religious community and the right by saying Republicans are “a pretty monolithic party. They all behave the same. They all look the same. It’s pretty much a white Christian party.”
But now he wants the white Christians to flip and go Democrat!
And not only is he contradictory in his words…but what about his party’s actions, and platform. Much of it is based on supporting immoral activity.
Hey Dean…That’s your party’s strength. Telling idiots they don’t have to be held to any higher standard, ripping crosses down, supporting drug use, and sex with whoever, wherever, however.
That’s what defines you Howie. And I don’t believe us White Christians are really into what your selling.
Are you a Christian considering jumping to the Democrat party? If you are … Why?

I was a Republican but unfortunatelly the Democrat Party dosen't have ideals to get my affiliation as much as the affiliation of a lot of Republicans who are very angry with the traitor and his bullies. I prefer to stay home than to vote for them.

It will be a sad day indeed if Americans are forced to take down a cross at a war memorial, whats next? Arlington?

I asked the very same question about Arlington. I guess we better stock up on the sandpaper so we can go around and remove every cross on every headstone

Yet, they try to convince us there is no war on Christianity or Christmas either, yea right!

If someone wanted to put phallic symbols in place of the crosses, I'm sure that would be okay because it's not promoting religion? This country was founded on Christian principals. When the foundation is gone, the building will fall. Termites can eat away at the foundation of a building and cause it to ROT from the foundation up.

ruthiela - Thanks for the update on this. Hopefully common sense (do we still have that in this country?) will prevail. That cross is harming no one and probably giving comfort to a great many.
