Thread: NCLR Alma Awards

Who foots the bill for this event celebrating Latino achievements and where is teh moeny coming coming from?

Here's a note from my friend that just came in concerning that...

'La Raza is sponsoring a show the ALMA AWARDS with Cheech and Chong and other guests all latinos on ABC. All of you should hear how Janice Murgia spoke, she changed her tune. She is being very careful in choosing her words. She now speaks about the American dream for everyone, she didn't say for Latinos. She avoided the words Hispanic and latinos, and while John Segada and McKnight sang, they showed videos behind them of immigrants and their babies sad faces holding the guess what!........THE AMERICAN FLAG!!! Yeah, what happened to the Mexican flag?
I will bet anything that Americans that are watching this show tonight, fall for their lies about "La Raza" being a civil rights organization for all. She skipped the word Hispanic this time. Disgusting...'

i am all for being proud about who you are and where you come from. But to elevate being Latino (as in essentially speaking Spanish and being catholic and sharing cultural bonds) above anything else in this country as if it was more special than say me being of french ethnicity who speaks French like about 200 million people around the world who also speak French, is basically trying to assert ethnic dominance. It has no place in my new country, the United States. Because if the "latinos" seek to play this game, let's awaken the German Americans who number about twice the number of latino (not including the illegals) and we'll see how they'd like to have the German language shoved down their throats!. Press 1 for English, 2 for German and only 3 for Spanish. How would you like that?

We're against illegal immigration and open borders, not Latinos.

Be advised anything to do with the NCLR which in fact is a well documented Race Based Anti-American organization should be ignored. the NCLR should be concidered as a mortal enemy of Alipac and the the American people as a whole.
