Higher Taxes on the Rich: Immoral and Wrong!

Carl Levin’s un-American scheme demonstrates the fact that leftists hate the rich more than they hate war!

Higher Taxes on the Rich: Immoral and Wrong!

    By John Lillpop

The liberal insanity with respect to taxes and the rich has gotten completely out of control.

Not only do liberals want to tax the so-called rich in order to fund health care for illegal aliens and other uninsured millions, a few months ago a prominent member of the U.S. Senate proposed a tax on the well to do to pay for Obama’s quagmire in Afghanistan.

As reported at Bloomberg.com, in part:

“Higher-income Americans should be taxed to pay for more troops sent to Afghanistan and NATO should provide half of the new soldiers, said Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.â€

It isn't a tax on the rich or wealth, it's a tax on income. The same person who crosses into that high bracket of 250,000 or so is paying the same rate as the person who makes 40 million or like Warren Buffett who pays himself a salary of less than 250K, but is worth billions. So it's not a tax on wealthy people, it's a tax on income which some poor slub could have sacrified and worked all of his life to get to that magical number. It's just wrong.

this isn't rocket science , it is fuzzy liberal math

Take all you can from the rich , take it all

Of course these are the people that are still employing people in this country

Tax them more , make them pay for the obomba health care , make them pay , make they pay

    Well , bottom line

It effects the jobs , no wonder they go looking for cheap illegal labor

Lets also talk about how much it costs these corps and rich people that run companies how much they spend complying with the crushing Govt mandates and regs

I can tell you it is staggering

    My company has

    Osha regs
    Liqueur regs
    Health dept regs
    IRs and I9 reporting
IPA regs (you would not believe the new hazardous waste regs they just
dropped on us , for a supermarket? )

city, county , state and federal regs , taxation
New health dept regs that are beyond belief

Now the new obomba care regs

Its a wonder any of these businesses stay open

An Employee need a health card , a TAM card and a Sheriffs card in Vegas to work in a grocery store.

Unless you work for one of the growing mexican market chains , You don't need nada , they raid um , clean out the illegals and then the next day there is a new batch of cheap labor working the same jobs.

Mr. Levin looks pretty fat and it looks like most of his assets are in cash - is he going to 'chip in" or is it just small PRIVATE business owners and conservatives that have to pay taxes?

I disagree and here's my reason why:

Clinton left office with a balanced budget and even a bit of a surplus. If Bush hadn't instituted these cuts in the first place we'd be much better off.

Then after the tax cuts Bush continued to increase govt. spending.

"Trickle Down Economics" might have been a viable strategy before this global economy crap was made possible by the fall of Communist Russia. After that the Riches of America could easily be invested elsewhere.

Outsourcing of good paying American jobs became so profitable any business that could, did. Then jobs that couldn't be outsourced were declared "jobs Americans wouldn't do" so that workers in those positions had to stand by as IAs severely undercut their wages while our govt turned a blind eye.

I'll stop there because we all know about Wall St. and azzholes like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Acorn et al.
