i know this has nothing to do with immigration (no info has been released about the shooter) but it shows the sorry state of the morals, ethics or whatever in this country. one thing i know is we are off tract.

Information on the Shooting on the NIU Campus in DeKalb

8:55 p.m. CST, 2/14/08

NIU can confirm six fatalities, including the gunman. Four of the dead were female and two, including the gunman, were male. In total, there were 22 injured or killed.

NIU can confirm that the shooter was an NIU graduate student in sociology in the Spring of 2007 but was not currently enrolled.

Another very sad day for America. When will these senseless shootings stop? I will pray for the victims and their families and friends.

I think metal detectors will have to be the norm at every University.
