    Shame on this Senate, now voting deliberately against the American people and for their big Democrat voter pools. SEIU, ACORN, Soros, La Raza, big pharma, unions, AARP, AMA, and the other groups involved in this big socialist legislation, must be happy to see this 1AM voting process.

    I am praying cjbl2929. We must keep contacting the House members after this day, and believe that something will not allow this to finally take place. The word "confusion" comes to mind, and I hope that there will be so much confusion and disagreement between the House and the Senate on this legislation, so that the American people will be saved from the forced purchase of insurance by our government, not to mention the rationing that would surely come.

    Seniors will be really getting hit hard.

    They are now voting. Harry Reid wants them to take their seats for voting instead of walking around as usual. This is historic, the socialist takeover of health care.

    Well, we must PRESS ON and keep the pressure on the Dems... they got the 60 votes tonight but they still have two more votes to finalize the bill once negotiations are reconciled between the House and Senate versions...

    No this is just the first vote- the final vote is not until thursday night at 7:00 pm.

    We have all day tomorrow to fight and perhaps the Lord will give us a X-mas Eve Miracle.

    60-40 on party lines with the two supposed independents siding with the majority.

    Its a shame that the rules let that sick frail robert byrd be wheeled in there.
    he should retire while he still has any dignity left because honestly, watching that, it just disgusts me.

    This vote tonite was on a reid managers special amendment that they senators got yesterday and was about 350 pages long.
