1.Headquarters: New Fugitive Added to Ten Most Wanted List; Fugitive Now Deceased

Adam Mayes, wanted in connection with the recent kidnapping of a mother and her three daughters in Tennessee, was added to the list. Bodies of two of the kidnap victims were found last week. After an ensuing manhunt, the two remaining kidnap victims were later recovered safely, and Mayes was pronounced dead after a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Full Story


2.Jacksonville: Mayo Clinic Radiology Tech Pleads Guilty to Spreading Hepatitis C

Steven Beumel pled guilty to tampering with a consumer product resulting in death when he admitted that he stole syringes of Fentanyl and replaced them with contaminated syringes of saline. Full Story


3. San Antonio: Attorneys Indicted for Bribery and Extortion

The Cameron County and District Attorney was charged for allegedly solicited and accepted over $100,000 in cash and campaign contributions from others, including another attorney charged in the indictment, in return for favorable acts of prosecutorial discretion. Full Story


4.New York: Man Pleads Guilty to Illegally Threatening Pro-Life Advocates

Theodore Shulman, a pro-choice advocate, pled guilty for threatening to kill two people through a posting on a blog that appears on the website FirstThings.com. Full Story


5.Salt Lake City: Charges Filed in Case Involving Alleged Theft of Trade Secrets from Utah Company

Chinese citizens Janice Kuang Capener and Luo Jun and two companies were charged with theft of trade secrets from Orbit Irrigation Products Inc. Full Story


6.Washington Field: Arrests Made in Alleged Honduran-Based Cocaine Trafficking Ring

Twenty-eight individuals were arrested for their roles in a drug trafficking ring that used couriers to import large amounts of cocaine hidden in shoes and decorative wooden frames. Full Story


7.Knoxville: Suspects in Multi-State Mortgage Fraud Scheme Charged

Joshua O. Dobson and Paul E. Gott, III were charged for allegedly defrauding hundreds of investors in California, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia of more than $45 million. Full Story

Thomas Gioeli and Colombo family soldier Dino Saracino were found guilty of various racketeering charges, including murder. Full Story
