The opposition wants the right to speak, and the right to determine who may speak, and yet she wants to deny other Americans the right to gather and speak.

    Ephesians 4:32
    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

How can these idiots not know that this is NOT a Republican issue!
A guy on CNBC is who started it with his call for "Tea Party Protests." CNBC is a Liberal channel!

I wonder how many Tea Parties will be shut down or not allowed to happen?
I hope the people still go and show their love of America and their detesting of politicians.

I also think the new "Cap & Trade Bill that went through Congress will bring in THOUSANDS of new protesters!

The Senate needs to be mobbed and made to NOT pass this Bill.
Let's get on them like flies on s*it!

July 4 Atlanta Tea Party Cancelled

With as many as 20,000 people attendance, the Atlanta Tea Party on April 15 was one of the largest and most successful Tea Parties in the country. The Atlanta Tea Party on July 4, 2009 had been expected to be just as large. Unfortunately, plans have changed. Simon Property Group has forced the cancellation of the Atlanta Tea Party.

The Atlanta Tea Party was forced to cancel its Independence Day celebration in Gwinnett, after losing its location due to the objection of Gwinnett Place Mall (a Simon company.) The Tea Party had been scheduled to take place in the parking lot of the old Macy's building at Gwinnett Place since March.

"It is unfortunate the event had to be canceled," said Julianne Thompson, event co-organizer. She continued, "The old Macy's building is on private property, and not owned by Simon Malls, however the mall manager asked the property owner and I to come in the office on Thursday of this week [June 18], and told us Simon does not want political events on its property. They were also concerned about the fact we were using the term "protest." Although the event was on private property, the mall was able to assert authority on the matter due to reciprocal property easement agreements.

Event Co-Chair Debbie Dooley stated, "Our Atlanta Tea Party team tried for the next day and a half to find an alternative location large enough for the event, and with the proper layout for our vendors, children's activities, and fireworks show, but we could not find anything suitable that would have been available on July 4th.

With just a few days left until the Fourth of July Tea Parties begin, this is very unfortunate timing! One wonders why Simon Property Group waited until now to interfere.

    Liberal Atlanta paper's snarky reaction.

Following the money, connecting the dots:

Gwinnett Place Mall shut down the Atlanta Tea Party.
Simon Property Group owns Gwinnett Place Mall.
Melvin Simon (a Forbes 400 billionaire) is Co-chairman of Simon Property Group, Inc.
Melvin Simon has provided large political contributions to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Franken, John Edwards, the DNC and many other Democrats and Democrat organizations.
Melvin Simon was a major contributor to Barack Obama inaugural committee and has given at least $1 million to the William J. Clinton foundation.
Melvin's wife, Bren, personally donated almost $100,000 to various political candidates, was a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton's presidential bid, and contributed to President Obama's inaugural committee.

I know that you have heard that the house passed an energy bill yesterday.

I watched some of Lou Dobbs yesterday and across the bottom was scrolling that the American people had shut down the Congressional telephone switchboard down in protest of this bill.

What my concern is ...................Its not the bill, It has nothing to do with the bill.......It coulda been anything.

What is bothering me about this is that "We the people" Stood up and said "NO"
<<< IT was a resounding NO to shut the phones down>>>

Its the fact that not only were our "Voices" ignored Our voices were blamed on "special interest groups"

After reading what Rep. Charles Gonzalez, D-Texas was quoted as saying I almost had the feeling that he was bragging about going against what the peoples wishes are.

Several moderate and conservative Democrats indicated that they received heavy constituent pressure in the final hours to buck their party leadership and vote against the bill.

"I can't begin to tell you how many calls we've received," said Rep. Charles Gonzalez, D-Texas. "And it's disproportionately vote 'no.'"

Gonzalez, who voted "yes," believes special interest groups generated many of the calls on both sides, including the late surge of negative feedback.

Another site that was shut down from traffic was the site for the energy Committee.
I wanted to see who the 56 idiots that wrote this Bill were.

It said due to traffic this site is not working but will soon.

Ignoring the resounding NO to the bill by Congress was very blantent and arrogant. It sounds like to me that when it comes to vote on their amnesty bill, they will do the same. A conspiracy is being played out. Five million of us need to walk into the capital building and boot every one of these traitors out. They don't work for us, they are working for someone else against us on our dime. Our forefathers would expect this. It is they who we honor, not the puppets placed in Washington by some other means that our election process. Yes, folks, a conspiracy is unfolding. Don't believe it? Go ahead, leave your head in the sand and stay in that state of denial if you can't see past your own nose.
