OK..first...no one can predict an earthquake. It has never been done. They are guessing that there may be a big earthquake at sometime in the future....but it is just a guess. Second...supplies. Suppose you go out and get a bunch of supplies. If the area you are in is so destroyed by an earthquake that not even food and water are available, then how do you know your supplies will survive the event? Where are you going to put your supplies that you can realistically be able to get at them in this type of emergency? And if the damage is so horrific that not even food and supplies can enter the area, then you are going to need way more than 10 days of supplies. It is good to have a few extra things on hand, but you can't realistically prepare for this type of event...not really.

    Things we only guess at.

I think there is more to this than meets the eye. 36 month shelf life?

"Requested Menus to include snacks (i.e. fruit mix, candy, chocolate/peanut butter squeezers, drink mix, condiments, and utensils). All meals/kits must have 36 months of remaining shelf life upon delivery. Packaging should be environmentally friendly."
