Did Biden Know About The Baby Formula Shortage Last Year?

The White House under President Joe Biden’s leadership has never been good at consistent messaging and keeping its stories straight.
In this latest development, Biden’s top official at the Department of Health and Human Services claimed that his department alongside the Food and Drug Administration knew about the shortage of baby formula “last year.”

This completely contradicts Biden from May 13th when he said his administration would have been better prepared for this nationwide crisis if they were “mind-readers.”
“I’ll answer the baby formula question because, all of a sudden, it’s on the front page of every newspaper,” Biden said, implying that all this baby formula news came to him seemingly by surprise and overnight.

Now, thanks to a recently aired interview with CNN, we can assume that Biden actually knew about this crisis long before the public did.
During the interview, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra was asked about the administration’s response to the lack of baby formula in the country.

The fact that Becerra said “last year” implies that Biden knew about the baby formula crisis long before he would like us to believe.Even the White House website contradicts Biden’s knowledge of the situation, stating on February 17, “the largest infant formula manufacturer in the country—Abbott Nutrition—initiated a voluntary recall of several lines of powdered formula.”

This is important because the White House has “reassured the public” numerous times about the federal government mobilizing and “working hard” to get baby products onto the market as soon as they became aware of the issue.
To put it simply; if these reports are accurate, the Biden administration lied to the American people.

Which is just the latest example of Biden not only putting America last but also families last. As many parents are still outraged to know this administration is apparently shipping “pallets” of baby formula to migrant holding facilities.

So while Americans struggle amid inflation, rising gas prices, and other economic hardships, it seems the current administration is more concerned with taking care of illegal immigrants and scoring cheap political points than American citizens.
Even worse – Biden will gaslight the nation and lie straight to our faces in an attempt to create the facade that he is in control. When in reality, communication under his leadership is all over the place across all departments.
As American Principles Project President Terry Schilling told the Daily Wire in a statement:
“At nearly every turn, his administration has actively undermined the interests of families. On education, for example, their focus has long been on woke indoctrination rather than real improvement — and when parents complained, the feds outrageously targeted them as ‘domestic terrorists,’” Schilling claimed.
“So it should come as no surprise that Biden and Democrats failed to take seriously the risk of a baby formula shortage.”

In typical fashion, the Biden administration downplayed the baby formula shortage for months. Now that it's a crisis, they're pointing the finger at anyone but themselves.
