Obama birthplace lawyer loses in court again

Laguna Niguel lawyer – and unsuccessful secretary of state candidate – Orly Taitz has had yet another filing thrown out of court. This happened in Washington, D.C. federal court last week, while I was hiding in the Grand Canyon for a brief sabbatical from politics, hence the delay in posting it here.

Taitz, who claims Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen and so is ineligible to be president, has had at least three lawsuits thrown out of court, as well as being chastised by judges and fined by one for misconduct.

The latest ruling is an offshoot of a suit she originally filed in Santa Ana district court and which was dismissed by federal Judge David O. Carter. Taitz’s appeal of the ruling is still pending in San Francisco federal court, but she also asked federal Judge Royce C. Lamberth in Washington to retry the case in his court, saying it was the appropriate venue since Obama lives in Washington.
After Lambert dismissed her request on April, Taitz filed a motion asking him to to reconsider that decision. No way, Lambert said in his Friday ruling. He used gentler language than some other judges dealing with Taitz, but nonetheless made it clear that he found absolutely no merit in any of Taitz’s arguments. A summary:

•Taitz failed to identify “any intervening change of controlling law or need to correct a clear error or manifest injustice that would permit the Court to grant reconsideration,â€

I follow her cases. I feel the one thing she has done is bring to the minds of everyone that Obama is a lier a cheat and a fraud.

One must remember that how a judge rules does not mean it is correct in the eyes or law or fit the laws of the Constitution or that Orly has lost the case.

"Lack of Merit" and "Lack of jurisdiciton" are simply a judges way of saying "I don't want this hot potato in my court."

This will find a trier of fact someday.
