The most recent incident took place April 20.

NBC 6's Sharon Lawson spoke with authorities and they said the woman targets Hispanic immigrants and robs the men of hundreds of dollars and their personal documents.

Police want to catch her before she strikes again.

"Scared and alone," said Demetrio Marin through a Spanish translator. "I have never even been stopped by the police."

Marin said he fell victim to a person he thought took an oath to serve and protect.

"Mainly what she does is she intimidates her victims," BSO's Keyla Concepcion said. "She approaches them and tells them she is an undercover police officer looking at them as a suspect in a rape or murder case and needs to interrogate them further."

Marin said the woman interrogated him as he walked down Oakland Park Boulevard.

He told NBC 6 that he's an illegal immigrant from Mexico, so he made sure to follow the demands. He provided her with his wallet and documents.

"She pats them down, takes their wallet, all their jewelry, and asks them for a second piece of identification," Concepcion said. "What we are trying to do right now is get her ID'd to prevent other people from falling victim to her scam."

Authorities say the woman is about 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 135 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She's believed to be driving a gold- or tan-colored, four-door Toyota Corolla.

Anyone with information is asked to call BSO robbery detectives at 954-321-4270 or Crime Stoppers at 954-492-TIPS.
