Re: Can't Do It Any More

I have thought about not voting this year. We don't have any real choices in this race. There are no Conservative front runners. Now I'm hearing that Anne Coulter will back the Miz Clinton. On a side note, I saw the video of Miz Clinton nearly choking when she heard that Coulter would support her, if McCaine got the nomination. I know for a FACT that I will not vote for McCaine. I don't know what I will do, unless I write in Rush Limbaugh in the fall. It's all depressing. We are in for it should the country be run by a stealth liberal, or the Clinton co-presidency.

I know how you feel. I can't even listen to the news anymore. I would feel okay with this if I *knew* it was fair. I don't trust that this isn't fixed. It just seems so unlikely that McCain would be where he is. And I worry that illegals are voting too. I feel powerless to change anything.

We cannot give up now! None of us can.

I am not surprised by the results of yesterday's elections, given the ignorance of a good portion of the American public in regard to important issues such as Illegal Immigration and National Security. I wouldn't despair, however, since there may very well exist a portion of people in both parties who are cognizant of the problems that are being caused by Illegal Immigration; and especially in regard to our national security. This is why we must now do as much as we can to educate the public in regard to the issue... and in a way that is informative, instructive, well-researched with referential back-up links, and which does not display any sort of rhetoric which could be misconstrued by our opponents.

We must continue stating the facts about Illegal Immigration and how it is destroying the security of our U.S. Citizens, just as we have always done. Again, we must remember that the key word here is ILLEGAL! No Presidential candidate should back people who have broken the law!

Now that it appears that the front runners of both parties are those who do not take a hard line tactic in regard to the Illegal Immigration problem, let's look at the situation.

Both Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton are all for open borders and doling out our hard-earned tax dollars to Illegal Immigrants who do not pay into the system and who are bankrupting our Social Services and Medical systems. John McCain has sided with Ted Kennedy in a half-baked Amnesty program, but he does hail from Arizona which has recently created some of the toughest Immigration laws in the nation; which at the very least is considerate in regard to our national security concerns.

Things being as they are, and as they very well may be after the conventions, we may have to bite the bullet and consider the possibility that John McCain may be the lesser of the Illegal Immigration proponents. I cannot say for sure, but at the very least, perhaps McCain would not act alone on any legislation regarding Immigration and would adhere to the will of the people through our representatives in Congress. I don't think that either Obama or Clinton would do that; they would be the most likely people who would jump the gun and create loopholes in our Immigration laws on their own. Hillary would turn a deaf ear on the American citizens... after all, she made a statement in 2004 that Americans had better like Globalism, regardless about what we may feel about it. She has stated that she believes the borders should be open to immigrant workers and that they should share in our social services benefits. It's people like that who are allowing people from other nations to dictate what happens in America.

It's hard to tell what will happen at this point. We still have a few more states that have not held their primaries, but as things look at this time, we shall have to deal with the issue from a logical point of view in regard to the candidates who are chosen. We must move forward regardless of who the Presidential nominees may be and regardless of who is elected into the Presidency.

As such, we at ALIPAC need to bond with our other allies and come up with qualified, quantitative and rational measures in which to educate the public and to provide information both to the general public as well as to our representatives that will enable us all to come up with viable means of stopping Illegal Immigration once and for all. It may be necessary for the whole issue to be voted upon by the American public and not left entirely up to our legislators. Time will tell.
Remember that*all Politicians work for us, the U.S. Taxpaying Citizens.* If they are not doing their jobs to your liking, FIRE THEM in the next elections.

Well I read something interesting. I don't know if it was here or if it was somewhere else. What I read said that while Hillary will respond to pressure, Obama will not. This might be something to keep in mind when we are faced with the lesser of two evils. Just a thought....
