Thread: Anyone Watch Today's Iowa Speeches?

Paul and Tancredo did a really good job. While illegal immigration is a major issue, I felt Tancredo should have spoken more on other issues as well.

I thought Ron Paul did great because he spoke on a number of issues - abortion, economics, foreign policy, illegal immigration, American sovereignty, etc (I can't remember them all). He mentioned how the neo-cons took over the traditional conservatives in the Republican Party which was awesome!

While both Paul and Tancredo did have a great show of support, I thought Romney, Brownback and Thompson had even more. I'm really on pins and needles about the final results. CSPAN is supposed to give them at 8PM est.

Personally, I think Mitt will come out on top and the other ones with good showings will be Tancredo, Brownback and Thompson. I'm not so certain about Ron Paul. He had a great group of volunteer supporters who went out there from other parts of the country but, Iowans didn't really know of him. He's got enormous support online but will that translate over to voting Iowans?? I'm still up in the air about it. I'll be happy if Tancredo does well but I'll be depressed for weeks if Ron Paul doesn't at LEAST come in the top 5.

I hope Guiliani and McCain drop out after this (wishful thinking)
