Guadalajara, Mexico was struck by a freak hail storm on Sunday, burying vehicles and trapping residents in ice pellets up to two meters (6.5 ft) deep, according to AFP.

"I've never seen such scenes in Guadalajara," said state governor, adding "Then we ask ourselves if climate change is real. These are never-before-seen natural phenomenons."

    "It's incredible!"

Guadalajara, located north of Mexico City and with a population of around five million, has been experiencing summer temperature of around 31 Centigrade (88 Fahrenheit) in recent days.
While seasonal hail storms do occur, there is no record of anything so heavy.

As children threw rock-hard ice balls at each other, Mexican Civil Protection personnel and state soldiers cleared the roads using heavy machinery.

Approximately 200 hopes and businesses reported hail damage, while around 50 vehicles were swept away in mountainous regions. Some were buried completely under the deluge of pellets.
No casualties were reported, however two people exhibited "early signs of hypothermia" according to the Civil Protection office.

The Birth Pangs Of The End Times Continue As Unprecedented Freak Hail Storm Drops 7 Feet Of Ice On Mexican City Of Guadalajara

An estimated 7 feet of hail inundated the 5-million population city, sweeping away dozens of cars and flooding streets 2 meters deep in slush. “I’ve never seen such scenes in Guadalajara,” said Jalisco state Governor Enrique Alfaro to Agence France-Presse, noting that it’s a wakeup call for climate change deniers. “Then we ask ourselves if climate change is real. These are never-before-seen natural phenomena. It’s incredible.” The deluge appeared to fill the streets in a matter of minutes, then rushed along in rivers throughout parts of the city, reported El Debate Noticias. About 200 homes and businesses were damaged in the pellet pummeling, according to AFP. Fifty or more vehicles were swept away in hilly areas, and some were buried under the ice chunks.

Summer hail storms are routine in parts of Mexico, especially Mexico City, the country’s capital. But what happened Sunday in Guadalajara, the country’s second-largest metropolis and capital of the state of Jalisco was beyond the pale.

Just yesterday we published an article showing you in great detail from the Bible that the current climate change we are experiencing right now is actually the ‘birth pangs’ of the Earth as it begins to prepare itself for the coming time of Jacob’s trouble leading to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. And not even 24 hours later, we have this incredible story of a never before seen hail storm in Mexico of this level and intensity.
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25-28 (KJV)
For the born again child of God who reads and believes their Bible, these type of stories are not only not scary, but comforting. Comforting because the Bible tells us that, as we begin to see the end times unfold, that we who are saved should LOOK UP, for our Redemption is getting ready to pull us up to meet Him in the clouds. The Earth is getting ready to receive its King…are you?

YES, OUR GLOBAL CLIMATE IS CHANGING RAPIDLY, AND NO, THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT AND THERE IS NO POWER ON EARTH THAT CAN STOP IT

Hail can be part of a routine rainy season, especially in Mexico City. It’s formed from warm, moist air that rises upward into high atmospheric altitudes while forming summer storms. If it gets high enough, BBC News explained, it hits below-freezing temperatures, and ice crystals form, then become encased in more ice that forms pellets around that center.

During especially severe thunderstorms, BBC News said, the pellets become heavy enough to plummet to Earth. The official rainy season is generally through July, august and September, according to GDL Tours, a tourism company that keeps weather statistics. Temperatures this time of year generally top out at 83 degrees Fahrenheit, with lows of 55 degrees at night, and typical rainfall of 10.6 inches for the month. Total yearly rainfall is about 37 inches, GDL Tours said. READ MORE

Mexico: Freak storm buries Guadalajara in 7-foot deep hail

For these residents of Guadalajara, Mexico… an icy awakening! To their surprise, they rose Sunday to find their neighborhoods covered under nearly two meters of hailstones.
While seasonal hailstorms are not unknown here, the volume of ice dropped Sunday is without precedent.
Especially as temperatures had been averaging 31 degrees celsius in recent days.
At around 1am, the violent hailstorm hit the area, depositing the deep drifts of ice within a few short hours.
Meteorologists say atmospheric instability is to blame – as high heat at ground level coincided with strong humidity at higher altitudes.
