New York Times’ columnist Paul Krugman took to his blog site Saturday to blame Republicans and conservatives for the attempted murder of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/0 ... mesKrugman Despite the somber occasion, Krugman chose to be combative and shamelessly used Saturday’s tragedy to berate those ideologically opposed to him.
Before any evidence came to light about who the shooter and what his motivations might be, Krugman assumed the act was politically motivated by disgruntled Republicans: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/report- ... e-liberal/
We don’t have proof yet that this was political, but the odds are that it was. She’s been the target of violence before. And for those wondering why a Blue Dog Democrat, the kind Republicans might be able to work with, might be a target, the answer is that she’s a Democrat who survived what was otherwise a GOP sweep in Arizona, precisely because the Republicans nominated a Tea Party activist. Maybe it's just me but I tend to think there are alot of left-wing liberals furious over the "shellacking" the democrats took and are targeting politicians? Giffords is a Blue Dog Dem which lean left-center. Why would a right winger do this?
This kid must have been certifiable and we don't know what set him off, so call this attack politically motivated is ridiculous, vitriolic and hate-mongering.
I don't recall anyone shooting politicians when the Dems took over Congress, does anyone?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Krugman says violent acts are to be expected when you create a climate of hate. I do see a climate of hate for sure. Most people think they would like to pick their poison and most would prefer a quick death. Being jobless or underemployed even, is a slow death. Probably the most hateful thing that you can do to a person is to deny them meaningful gainful employment. It is a torture. So who created this climate of hate (meaning not enough decent jobs?)
Krugman, Klein, Beck & Limbaugh can all scream as much as they like, with jobless poverty there will be violence. We dread it as well but of course it is coming.Restitution to Displaced Citizens First!
