She's already the most listened-to woman in the world of political talk radio, but Laura Ingraham's popular show is now experiencing a major growth surge. Since she and syndicator Talk Radio Network recently announced the multi-year renewal of Ingraham's contract, the show has added to its existing 300-plus affiliates another 18 just in the last two weeks.

"Who wouldn't want the biggest and best women in conservative talk?" commented Steve Versnick, programming director for KTLK in Minneapolis. "We're thrilled to add her to our lineup on KTLK-FM."

And Greg Durkin, general manager of WTMY in Sarasota, Fla., said: "Never in my years here at WTMY have I witnessed the response that has been given Laura Ingraham. Our phones began ringing off the hook even before she came on the air! We are very excited to be part of the phenomenon that is the Laura Ingraham Show."

Among Ingraham's newest affiliates are ABC/Citadel's WBAP in Dallas; Fisher's legendary KVI in Seattle; KTLK-FM in Minneapolis; the 50,000-watt KPAM in Portland, Ore., WEOL and WELW in Cleveland; WTMY in Sarasota, Fla.; and WINC in Winchester, Va.

Before launching into talk radio in 2001, Ingraham, who has a law degree from the University of Virginia, clerked in the Supreme Court for Justice Clarence Thomas, and later worked as a defense attorney. She's the author of three books, including her most recent, "Power to the People," which debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Bestseller list. She has her own weekly segment, dubbed "The Ingraham Angle," on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor," the No. 1 rated cable news show in America, and is also O'Reilly's primary substitute host and a Fox News Channel contributor.

"Laura's unique brand of conservative wit and wisdom, along with her searing analysis of pop culture, resonates with a wide and diverse audience," commented Mark Masters, CEO of Talk Radio Network Enterprises. "Given her proven track record in the industry, Laura's star will continue to rise for many years to come."

Ingraham describes her show this way: "This is a critical time for our country both politically and culturally, and I am thrilled to continue my daily conversation with my listeners coast-to-coast. I feel like I'm just getting warmed up."
