Rep. Gohmert: FBI helps terrorist front groups push Sharia in US

Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert railed against how federal agencies under the Obama administration have taken to coddling organizations he says areU.S. front groups for the Muslim Brotherhoodwho push for Sharia law in America.

Speaking on the House floor Friday, Gohmert specifically named the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Islamic Society of North America as being “front organizations for the Muslim Brotherhood” that want “Sharia law to be the law of the land, not our Constitution.” That, Gohmert said, “is what we did not take an oath to allow to happen.”

Gohmert angrily addressed how a politically correct U.S. military is ignoring “green-on-blue attacks” against our soldiers in Afghanistan.

“We need to address the political correctness that is blinding our agencies and blinding our military of its ability to see who the enemy is, because it’s getting people killed,” Gohmert said

Gohmert complained how under a politically correct Obama administration, federal agencies have changed their policies to be friendly toward and partner with groups like CAIR. “Any time CAIR says, ‘This offends us,’ the FBI says, ‘Oh, gee, we’d better change it,’” he said.

He noted how mosques are now off-limits to FBI surveillance, where before Obama took office, the FBI had successful sting operations targeting terrorists inside mosques.

And with the political correctness of the FBI, the Justice Department, and the State Department, the intelligence department, for that matter, is that you got to leave mosques alone where people are being radicalized…

Reminding why he believes groups like CAIR and ISNA are Muslim Brotherhood front groups pushing for Sharia law in America, Gohmert said, “We took an oath to our constitution. And that means no law shall be above our constitution.”
