2.Tampa: President of DME Company Sentenced to 12 ½ Years for Medicare and Medicaid Fraud
Ben Bane was sentenced to 12 ½ years in federal prison for health care fraud charges and submitting false claims. Bane was ordered to pay $7 million in restitution, a $3 million fine, a $1,000 special assessment and three years of supervised release after serving time in prison. Full Story
