IRS To Require Additional Funding Under ObamaCare (reminder)

IRS To Require Additional Funding Under ObamaCare
    Peter Suderman | July 12, 2010

Is the IRS capable of handling all of its new responsibilities under ObamaCare? Not according to the National Taxpayer Advocate. A new report from the IRS watchdog says that your friendly neighborhood tax collectors are insufficiently prepared to carry out their duties under the new health care law, and will therefore require additional funding not included in the bill:

A warning that federal tax officials will need more congressional funding to administer the Democrats’ health reform law has rekindled the partisan debate over its cost effectiveness.

Senior Republicans have said for months that the new responsibilities required of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under the legislation would saddle the agency with billions of dollars in additional costs — expenses not accounted for in the bill.

A Wednesday report from the National Taxpayer Advocate (NTA), an independent watchdog within the IRS, backed those claims, finding that the agency currently lacks the resources to take on the new duties.

"I have no doubt the IRS is capable of administering social programs, including healthcare," Nina Olson, head of the NTA, said in a statement. “But Congress must provide sufficient funding.â€

    IRS to require additional funding

Not surprised at all. I sure hope many of you took wise advice to pay down debt and prepare for a lower standard of living. Uncle Sambo will take all he can get to fund his social justice agenda. White folks are the new oppressed race now. The Dept of Justcie has proclaimed that charges of civil rights abuses against white people, if caused by blacks, will not be prosecuted.
Be prepared to hand over your hard earned money so the government can raise the standard of living for the non workers.
Not me. Going to quit the cushy 80k a year job. There is no way in heck I will help finance the destruction of this country. Been preparing for a number of years to live on next to nothing.

If we were going to vote for a balck president, then we should have picked some one who wasnt' a racist, like Alan Keyes. The prez is dividing our country. If white Americans would put away their white quilt that the blacks have talked us into, we would probably be better off. Rasism does exist on both sides in this country yesterday, today and tomorrow. We will NEVER get rid of it.

    IRS to require

Like it or not, our standard of living is going down, taxes are going up. We lived thru the Carter years when interest rates for homes went to 20%. Then the Savings and Loan Rescue that forced taxpayers to pay for bad lending practices. HERE WE ARE AGAIN.

Please take control of your finances and make the tough decisions required to pay off debt. Having your home paid for should be a primary goal. Do NOT put yourself at the mercy of government handouts. Take responsibility for yourself and your family. Put yourself in a position of survival and economic power.
Yes, it is hard. Start today with a small step. Stop using credit to finance your lifestyle. Your debt is like a millstone around your neck. It will hold you down.
