Nancy Pelosi Howler: Obamacare ‘Largely Responsible’ for Bringing Down Deficit

he multi-trillion dollar government program Obamacare’s not even implemented yet, and Democrats are making claims about the wonderiffic cure-all that even a traveling snake-oil salesman would find ludicrous.

Former and hopefully never-to-return Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi dogpiled on the laughable claims about an Obamacare program that is already three times original cost estimates:

“Many of the initiatives that he passed are what are coming to bear now, including the Affordable Care Act,” Pelosi said in an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes. “The Affordable Care Act is bringing the cost of health care in our country down in both the public and private sector. And that is what is largely responsible for the deficit coming down.”

As The Hill points out, the only reason any deficit reduction claim from Obamacare could ever be claimed is because it taxes the bejeezus out of people and companies in order to raise funds. In other words, the government is supposedly making deficit cuts by piling on taxes. Unable to comprehend this Washington doublespeak? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

It’s impossible to get into just how absurd Nancy Pelosi’s claim is in a short space, but just a recent headline story from the Washington Examiner will suffice, “Insurers predict 100%-400% Obamacare rate explosion“:
