MIAMI — The video, shot with a hand-held camera, shows brawny Miami police officers breaking down doors and hauling handcuffed African-American suspects off some of the city’s toughest streets. “We hunt,â€

The City of Miami police department has picked up officers who were problem children from other departments. I know some of them personally from classes I took and they have worked for more than one department previoously where internal affairs have investigated them for major problems. Fellow Hispanics brought them to the department who hired them. They thought they were saving money by not putting them through the academy and their former employer wanted to get rid of their liability so they did not make them look that bad. Add the fact that hispanics help fellow hispanics and many look the other way when it comes to bad things since they consider them one of their own and you are asking for trouble. Then add the fact that many cities and unincorporated areas of Maimi Dade County have many hispanics in higher positions who cheat to get fellow hispanics or rather Cubans jobs. There are police officers in somne departments who were hired without going through all the testing. In one city there was an officer who was under investigation for a police shooting and when they pullied his HR file there was no psych test. The department then called the testing facility and they had no records of the guy even being tested. It is well known that there are people who do tests for others as well since they would never qualify for the job if they did it. That is how they bring thier friends in. There is a police dispatcher in Miami Dade who can barely speak English and has a hard time reading. The county either has them as call takers or dispatchers and as dispatchers don't type as much and if they do it is alot of numbers they put her there. I can tell you that she never did the Criticall test all people applying for the jobs must do. There is no way she could listen to what was being said and type it into the appropriate boxes or remember names or addresses and type them in. Her English is too poor.

Many Cubans are racists against black. They even have a sign they use to avoid verbally saying anything. I have been disguisted by what I have seen from some of them. Their behavior here does not surprise me at all. In fact one of their officers made a comment after one of those shooting saying NHI which means no human involved.

Some of the shootings were justifiable as some of those killed were armed and did not put the gun down when ordered to do so. One case involved a person who got out of jail for murder and kept going towards his vehicle disobeying police orders. I can see that one as the officers did not know if he had a weapon in the vehicle. This last case I know a little more than the media has said. Just before that shooting a neighboring jurisdiction (North Miami if I recall correctly) had an armed robbery and the BOLO went out for a black Nissan SUV and it was occupied 2 times by 2 black males. That incident did not that far from where the police shooting occurred. I heard that BOLO on Maimi Dade's radio and it even said special attention Miami Control Point One as the vehicle was headed towrds the City of Maimi. When I saw the news footage I noticed the vehicle was a black Nissan Suv and heard one occupant of the vehicle was killed and one was injured. Now unless the driver of this vehicle tried to run over an officer which would make the vehicle a weapon then the shooting was a result of mistaken identity. No one has said anything.
