    BOYCOTT NBC!!

Dear Americans: Join me in supporting American workers by blasting NBC for having the audacity to produce a sitcom called "OUTSOURCED"! Unemployed Americans do not need to have this nation's economic woes rubbed in our faces! Unemployed Americans do not need to see a foreign economy flourishing because multinationals betrayed our nation for profit.

To me it sounds like a wonderful show and I will regret missing most episodes. Sometimes outsourcing to another country works sometimes it doesn't. It is possible for call centers and business procesing services to be competitive but to do so they have to compete. You can not rest on your laurels for long.

BTW The head of the largest immigration enforcement and reduction lobby group here in Massachusetts is an outsourcing consultant.

I understand the outrage at the actual outsourcing, but dont we Americans need to see where our jobs are going? How it could be if we still had these jobs? If we dont know, and dont wake America up to the stark reality of outsourcing, then we are blind. We should know about this so we can fight it and alert our representatives to this government job robbery. The more educated we are about this then the more we know who and how to fight.

Which is the part that "works", Richard? The part where American citizens are forced to train cheap replacements from the third world and get slapped with the "racist" label if they complain? And don't separate "outsourcing" from foreign replacement workers; they are totally and inextricably linked. The H-1B visa is also called the "outsourcing" visa because Indian companies use their unwanted cooley laborers in the US to fire Americans and send their jobs to India.

Please do more research before posting something like this. I live in Detroit where the auto companies use H-1B labor to fire Americans from their jobs and send them to India. I have seen it happen!

I saw a brief advertisement for this show. They were teaching Indians in India answering phones to fool Americans by having American Regional Accents especially Southern.

I guess it is supposed to be a comedy.imo a really stupid idea being it is a very sensitive subject for alot of Americans.

USPatriot, I had to grin over your post. I remember one time I was calling a service number, AOL, Microsoft or something. This obviously south Asian person answered and said his name was something like Lauch or Clem or some southern name. I said, "I don't think so!" He was unable to assist me of course, but it made for some levity that day.

Other countries have been outsourcing services to the United States for generations. It is to be expected that other countries would find some area of proficiency and be seen entering the American market in turn.
