Tea Partiers Find Power in National Precinct Alliance Strategy

The local precinct has been around longer than the United States has been around. But many Americans lost interest in the local precinct years ago, seeing it as only a low-level political office without power. That was before the recent Nevada success story and National Precinct Alliance (NPA).

Somebody needs to let the international plague know that this is not their country. It is ours. It belongs to We the People. But to put it in the words of Thaddeus Stevens in 1867, "Though the President is Commander-in-Chief, Congress is his Commander; and, God willing he will obey. He and his minions shall that this not a Government of Kings and satraps, but a Government of the people, and that Congress is the people.

So those in public office need to be made aware that they are "not" the people, but representatives of the people.
